Comprises teaching materials for the Good Practice in Teaching Basic Skills & ESOL Project and the Healthcare ESOL Development Partnership project, which includes a CD-ROM. The file also includes support materials for ESOL providers working with refugees and asylum seekers and reports regarding ESOL training, projects and the ESOL curriculum.

Networking was the Unit's newsletter produced in order to foster the different networks it worked with and bring them together by sharing news and information. It was produced once a term, with the first issue produced in October 2000. The newsletter was redesigned twice, firstly in 2004 after the Unit changed its name to LLU+ and secondly in the summer of 2006 after moving to new premises in Pocock House.

'2001' comprises reports regarding language in Mali and building basic skills in the workplace, and course materials for family learning and teaching literacy to ESOL learners.

'2000' comprises reports regarding parental involvement in education, dyslexia, computer assisted langauge learning and second language learning and teaching. Includes a 3.5" floppy disk

'2004' comprises a report regarding numeracy and non-specialist mathematics.
