In 2010 London South Bank University began an evaluation of all its business activities as part of a cost cutting process, with one proposal being the phased closure of LLU+. In response the Unit instigated a campaign to save their service.

Comprises background information on the situation, correspondence between LLU+ supporters and local Members of Parliament, letters of support for LLU+ sent to London South Bank University and a Save LLU+ petition.

A film of the LLU+ self-assessment carousel, a set of ten numeracy activities based around the 'Minimum Core' to be completed by participants allowing them to test their skills in a non-threatening environment. The film examines each activity and the thought processes behind them.
Minimum Core was introduced in the 2000s and set out the knowledge and skills required by teachers in literacy, language, numeracy and ICT to fulfil their role.
