Comprises bound minute books for the years 1895-1922, a bound volume of catalogues listing the photographs and lantern slides shown at the Society's annual exhibitions and photocopied pages of a report of the Society's proceedings during the Second World War and the Society's rules.

Six large mounted black and white photographs of various laboratories within the Borough Polytechnic Institute extension buildings. The photographs are held in a paper sleeve addressed to Douglas H Ingall. The photographs include the Food Analysis Laboratory, Elementary Chemistry Laboratory, Prepared Sales Counter, Paint Laboratory, Cake Decoration Room and Advanced Chemistry Laboratory.
