Course guide for a 52-week course run by the Charles West School of Nursing for enrolled nurses who have successfully completed E.N.B. Course 426: Paediatric Nursing for Enrolled Nurses.

Information on the different units comprising the Post Registration RSCN Course. This course was put on by South Bank University's School of Paediatric Nursing and Child Health soon after the merger with the Charles West School of Nursing.

Comprises an agenda and minutes from the course review meeting held on 28 July 1992 attended by representatives from the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street and the Institute of Education along with correspondence between the two institutions regarding course planning.

Comprises badges given to nurses on completion of certain courses and general hospital badges.

A green, rectangular badge featuring the logo of the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street for students on the enrolled nurse course.

A blue, oval badge featuring the new logo and name of the Hospital: it changed name to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in 1994.

Comprises two historical publications and a visitors book used as part of the centenary celebrations for nurses training at the Hospital.

A booklet comprising historical information and extracts from letters together providing an overview of 100 years of nurse training at the hospital. It was compiled by the Librarian of the School of Nursing, the Honorary Hospital Archivist and the Consultant Dermatologist.

A visitors book containing names and addresses of attendees at a two day conference and exhibition celebrating 100 years of nurse training at the hospital. Inserted in the front is a letter from Queen Elizabeth II to the Chief Nursing Officer thanking her for messages of greetings sent by hospital nursing staff on occasion of the centenary. The Queen is the patron of the hospital.

Comprises a selection of reports and publications concerning various area of medical work and education including: staff appraisal; hospital management; patient support; social services; and education systems. It includes a report from the Hospitals for Sick Children Special Health Authority on personalised family-centred care (1987).
