The event consisted of formal speeches, a drinks reception and tours of the Legal Advice Clinic, Borough Road Gallery and Edric Hall, where a dance performance was staged.
Zonder titelIn 1942 the Polytechnic celebrated its Golden Jubilee with a small gathering of around 300 people in the Borough Road building, as restrictions were placed on the number of people who could meet enforced by war conditions.
The guest book contains the signatures of some of the jubilee guests and lists their relationship with the Polytechnic. The signatures include that of C.T.Millis, the Polytechnic's first principal.
