A blue, oval badge featuring the new logo and name of the Hospital: it changed name to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in 1994.

Inserted in the front is a letter from Queen Elizabeth II to the Chief Nursing Officer thanking her for messages of greetings sent by hospital nursing staff on occasion of the centenary. The Queen is the patron of the hospital.
