The Major Projects and Investment Committee is a sub-committee of the Board of Governors and was established following the 2015 governance effectiveness review. 'London from the South Bank' was commissioned by the University to celebrate the Millennium and was painted by Miles Peter Richmond, a founder member of the Borough Group of artists. The painting depicts an abstract view of the London skyline from Borough Road Building roof. It now hangs in the London Road Building concourse.
